The first thing you have to do is to start the sign up process under www.trekksoft.com, already the second step will be the selection of the payment method:

By choosing the TrekkSoft.com Payment Gateway you will have a fee of 6 % per online transcation, included are all credit card fees. So there won`t be any additional costs from credit card companies, everything is handled directly via TrekkSoft. You get paid out on a monthly base according to the trip date. So if you sell online a trip in March with the trip date of april, you will get paid out end of april. All offline transcations (over the counter, Point of Sale) are free of charge.

You need here first to register on this link a PayPal Merchant Account. On this PayPal Merchant Account all online payments we will paid out directly and real time. Thats the advantage of this option: you have the money immediately on your PayPal Merchant Account. From TrekkSoft.com we will charge a fee per online transcation of 4 %. In addition to this 4 % you will have to pay PayPal Fees per transcation. At the moment PayPal will charge you per transcation 2.9 % plus 30 cents. So in total you will have 6.9 % per online transaction and 30 cents as fix costs from PayPal and TrekkSoft.com together. You need to handle your Refunds manually, TrekkSoft.com provides in the backend a System to mark a transaction as refunded (for example after a cancelled trip). Again all offline transcations (Point of Sale and over the counter) are free of charge.

The last option only makes sense if you are quite big tour operator with a lot of online turnover. We suggest this option only if you make over EUR/USD 500 000.- online turnover. With this option you can set up your own PSP (Payment Service Provider). If you choose this option you need to make your own credit card contracts and a specific contract with a PSP Provider. Obviously the idea behind this option is clear: you make a lot of pure online turnover and you can possibly negotiate better credit card conditions for yourself. TrekkSoft.com will charge you a fee per online transaction of 4 %. To compare costs you need to add the TrekkSoft.com costs (4%) + PSP Costs (normaly a fix amount per transcation) + the fee from the credit card (% per transcation ≤ 6 % . All offline transactions are free of charge.
